Greetings Friends of Fancy Cats!
| Fancy Cats Meets Hello Kitty! Thanks so much to Seasons Cards and Gifts for inviting us to take part in their Hello Kitty birthday event on the 27th of June! We met lots of wonderful adopters who shared stories of their Fancy Cats and quite a few future Fancy Cats adopters too! Thanks to all for coming out and sharing a wonderful day with us! Check out the photos!  Happy Tail I just wanted to write you to give you an update on Muffy. She is doing wonderful here! She is still a little shy, but will walk up to me at least once a day for cuddles. She sleeps at the foot of my bed every night and she and Bella have become really close.I think that I have already started to spoil her...lol. We have a tradition that every night when I get home from work, the girls get a treat or a bit of wet food. She is quite picky, but then again, so is Bella. She won't eat the chunky kind of wet food but loves the pate kind. Bella is her partner is crime and they are always together. Whether they are playing or just taking a nap together, its rare that they are apart from each other. -Nancy Read more success stories! |

Kittens, Kittens Everywhere! With our resources already stretched to the limits, kitten season presents a bigger challenge to Fancy Cats. Our foster homes are packed, our finances are tight, and because of the lagging economy, our adoption numbers are down. If you have space in your home for a few foster kittens, please contact Cathy at cawad@cox.net. If your home is full too, please consider MAKING A DONATION. FEATURED PET: Lucky Lady
When we first met Lucky Lady she had just arrived to an area shelter with her sister, a brother and of all things a guinea pig! As "luck" would have it, another rescue took the brother and guinea pig and Lucky Lady and her sister, Church Lady, came to Fancy Cats. Church has since been adopted and it is Lucky Lady's turn. She has absolutely captivated her foster mom who says she is the gentlest, sweetest little cat. She has a very unusual coat, thick and soft, almost a doublecoat, like a Korat. Lucky Lady has slight balance issues which may be attributed to a neurological problem she was born with. This does not hinder her in any way. She always manages and seems unaware of her handicap. Lucky Lady needs to find that special someone who will realize what an incredible cat she is.
We have a bunch of other great kitties who do not do well at adoption fairs. If you are interested in meeting one of our featured kitties, or any of those other wonderful adults, please email us to set up an appointment.

We continue to take scrip orders every month. - perfect for gifts, but also great for your everyday shopping needs! As always, orders must be picked up in person unless other arrangements are made prior to the delivery date.
