We have an immediate need for an adoption center coordinator for the Fair Lakes adoption center. As the adoption center coordinator, you work with both the Fancy Cats intake coordinator and PetsMart store management to ensure the cats in the center are healthy and appropriate for the clientele at the store. You would also be responsible for communicating with the center's cat care volunteers, keeping them apprised of center changes and fostering a team environment. The center manager role is perfect for a "people person" who also loves cats and wants to help our team of volunteers get as much out of volunteering as they give to our cats! Are you an expert planner? Do you know fundraising? Are you looking for alternative ways to help Fancy Cats Rescue Team meet their 2010 goals? She's shy at first but once she gets going you can hear her purring from across the room. Lucy loves kids. She would like to find a home with her friend Jazz; she has raised him since he was a kitten and never likes to be too far from him! He's just one year old, is very playful and loves children. He is super affectionate and loves to sit and watch tv with people. Don't forget to adopt Lucy too! she has always been his 'foster' mom and he follows wherever she goes! We have a bunch of other great kitties who do not do well at adoption fairs. If you are interested in meeting one of our featured kitties, or any of those other wonderful adults, please email us to set up an appointment. CASH FOR THE CATS - The Perfect Holiday Gift! The Fancy Cats scrip program has a new name! It's CASH FOR THE CATS and you can contribute by purchasing gift cards through our program. As the holidays approach, it's time to get your gift orders in! There are only two order dates left before Christmas and only one before Hanukkah! Check out the program details, then sign-up and do all of your holiday shopping, lickety-split! You pay face value for the gift cards and percentage of each sale goes directly to Fancy Cats. Check out the holiday gift guide! 2nd Annual Wine & Cheese Event Saturday, November 7th, 7-9 pm Fancy Dewey Animals is holding it's 2nd Annual Wine & Cheese Event to benefit Fancy Cats! This was a great event last year and we expect it to be even better this time around! The event will again take place at a volunteer's home, this time in Chantilly. Tickets are $40 per person, which includes wines, cheeses, chocolates, hors d'oeuvres, and other non-alcoholic beverages. Space is limited, so contact Pam today to reserve your spot! We look forward to seeing you there! Even if you can't make it to the event, you will have the ability to order the wines and cheeses that will be showcased that evening. Coming Up Santa Paws Photo Events December 5-6th, 12-13th, 19-20th Don't miss out on your chance to get photos of you and your pet(s) with Santa this year. During the first three weekends in December, Santa will be setting up shop at the Fair Lakes, Chantilly, and Springfield PetsMarts to meet you and take photos with your pets! Photo packages are $9.95 and Fancy Cats gets a $5 donation with each package purchased. Stay tuned for more details on our website!
