Senior Cats Available

A cat is considered senior when they turn 8 years old. However, please remember that cats can live more than 20 years.

Becoming part of Fancy Cats means that the new feline member has gained an umbrella of guardian angels (volunteers) to help them to their next destination. Many senior cats, come to us after living half of their lifetimes in one place. Removed from the familiar, they can become very depressed and can stop eating, which triggers the onset of certain diseases like hepatic lipidosis. Fancy Cats recognizes the connection between mental and physical health and pays close attention to every cat to help them adjust to changes in their life.
